Oregon Guided Eco Tours; Oregon Coast and Mt. Hood
Guided Eco-tours are a great way to see spectacular areas on the Oregon Coast and around Mt. Hood. Let the wilderness experts at Oregon River Guides show you around the pristine and remote areas of our beautiful state. Eco-tours are custom designed for your group and can include; White Water Rafting, Scenic River Floats, Wilderness Hikes, and Wildlife viewing.

Some of our popular pre-packaged trips are:

An Oregon Coast Wilderness Hike through elk, black bear and grouse areas. This hike includes spectacular old growth forests, creek crossings and comes with a streamside crawfish boil, complete with all the fixings. Hike is anywhere from 4-10 miles depending on ability level. This hike is located perfectly for visitors in the Waldport, Newport and Lincoln City areas.

Sandy or Clackamas River Float Trip - sit back, relax and enjoy a float down 15-20 miles of scenic river canyon. This float trip includes lots of class 2 and 3 rapids, great scenery of classic Oregon rainforests and wildlife viewing. Common wildlife encountered are Eagles, Osprey, Beavers, Deer and other rain forest life. This trip includes a streamside shore lunch and is great for small groups.

Old Growth Trek and Salmon Viewing - This casual hike is spectucular during the Fall. Watch Salmon jump waterfalls and spawn in crystal clear streams, then hike a short 2-4 mile loop through incedible old growth forests with trees up to 600 years old. This trip is available on Mt. Hood and on the Oregon Coast. Salmon viewing is seasonal; available from October-December.
