Oregon Coast Aquarium, Newport, Oregon - The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a wonderful sight to see on any visit to the Oregon coast. Dive in to the "Passages of the Deep", a 200-foot glass underwater tunnel that travels through three ocean habitats. Outdoors, rugged cliffs, caves and pools showcase fish and invertebrates of Oregon's coast.

Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, Newport, Oregon - The historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse sits on a bluff at the mouth of the Yaquina River. It was built in 1871 and retired in 1874 (3 years). The lighthouse was officially restored as a navigational aid in 1996. Admission is free and features a 20 minute video. The lighthouse is open Mon. to Thurs. from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Private tours and weddings can be arranged upon request.
